Major updates

Shadows

  • A shadow that attacks the target has been added

  • 3 new perks in the book for these shadows

New Rune System

  • The importance of the battlefield has been reduced and more importance has been given to the part of the runes.
  • A new rune pool has also been introduced, now the runes are not the same for each run, but are randomized.
    • 6 new in Tier 1
    • 24 new in Tier 2
    • 34 new in Tier 3
    • 13 new in Tier 4
    • 11 new in Tier 5
  • Special runes have been introduced
    • In the demo they are chosen when you unlock new runes, in the final version they will be chosen before the game.

  • These special runes differ from each other by color and give a special resource (essence) in addition to the main resource (Arcane).

  • Having just one of these runes unlocks two things:
    • 1) New skills to use during the game
    • 2) The ability to enter "Mageia Synchrony".

Magics (Mageias)

  • Magics are used with the essence they generate, the higher the level of the magic, the higher its cost.

  • Synchrony is to enter a special state where each and every rune is converted to the chosen type.
  • The rune nodes change depending on the rune type

  • In synchrony only the special resource is generated, the main resource is no longer earned (therefore you will not be able to save to buy new skills in the book).
    • It also allows the ability to make combos
    • As the combo increases, more essence is gained.

  • Special runes that already had this type of native form are considered "over power" giving much more essence.
  • 9 new magics
  • A new page has been added in the book to read a more accurate description of the magics

Endings

  • 3 new endings with one cinematic each 

Minor updates

Gargoyle

  • Gargoyles no longer have to be charged, they chage by themselves when added to the dock.
    • Gargoyle attacks are now instant kills
    • Now the unlocked gargoyles do not share the same type, each one is different.
    • Now you can take it out of the dock even if it is charing, and when you return it to the dock it continues from where you left off.
    • The bar now indicates the charging progress and available charges
    • Now they move with the left click but attack with the right click.
  • The gargoyle's charge bar flashes if you have no ammunition

Vagrant

  • The vagrant's bar of suspicion remains even if you scare him away.

Runes

  • Rune autocompletion has been removed as a perk
    • .Autocomplete has been mixed with the preview, now the perk gives you a hint of the correct connections.
  • The area of the runes has been enlarged, with some of them now being larger
  • Small magnet on the rune nodes to facilitate correct connections
  • An option in the menu to be able to play with a smaller number of runes
  • Improved the system of random runes, so that the same rune does not appear 3-4 times in a row, or just the same 3 runes as usual.

Others

  • Skip option in the cinematics (by simply pressing any button for a few seconds)
  • New tutorials for this changes
  • Particles when knocking on the door and small shake
